Solar Domestic Hot Water is ideally suited to provide efficient heating for both indoor and outdoor pool systems. In an adaption to an existing swimming pool system linked in to a pool environmental system and gas boiler, Phoenix Renewable Technologies in conjunction with Vaillant solar have designed a system to provide 40 – 50% of the pool heating requirements.
The system consisted of two banks of Vaillant evacuated tube solar collectors feeding a swimming pool plate heat exchanger linked in to the pool supply.
